According to the shared posts on Facebook recently, majority of people must have had some clue about new announcement from Watch Empire, the largest and exclusive distributor of international watches in Cambodia, has launched a brand-new division called W.E Share to seek out any philanthropist interesting in voluntarily work as well as desire to help society and the poor around our living environment? Without saying, in this article, there will be explanation in detail of what is W.E Share, what is its vision, the purpose of it, and how can it help the society and people around us?
1. What is W.E Share?
W.E Share is derived from the word Watch Empire plus the word Share. W stands for Watch and E stands for Empire. W.E Share is part of Watch Empire, which plays a key role in engaging with some of the social work that can be considered to be charity serving the need of community and shares the well-being to those around us. As you know, since the beginning, Watch Empire has been involved in numerous community service, such as holding a Couple run event to raise funds for Kuntheak Bopha Hospital, making a donation to Angkor Hospital for Children during our company trip in Siem Reap and sponsoring hundreds of Ice-Watch bags as souvenir for children at O KEY APPENDIX Primary School, Lvea Secondary School and many more... Based on these reasons, they motivate us, Watch Empire, to create a new section called W.E Share that gives us opportunities to get involved in more social work in the long run.
2. What is the vision of W.E Share?
Based on Ms. Kim Vilenleza, a Public Relations Executive, states that, “Just like its name calling, W.E Share hopes that this segment will enable us a chance to share our love with everyone. We adhere to the concept of "More than just sharing, it's about sharing love", meaning that Watch Empire family sincerely give you our all without any beneficial ownership, instead we want you to believe that we are in this together, in the same situation, we truly care and love every one and each of you. She continues, “Let me give you a brief comment on this, some people might think that donations or in another word, charitable work, can only be done with a lot of money. However, from my perspective, I do not think it is completely right, because helping others as well as doing social work is multifaceted and does not need or require much, if you have more, help more, if you have less, help less. More or less does not define who you are, for it is your generosity, your willingness to help people. Therefore, no one has the audacity to evaluate you. Sometimes your support, which you think is less for you, can mean more and meaningful for those in need. Thus, W.E Share is certain that your cooperation, little by little, can alleviate the plight of those struggling to survive.”
3. What is the purpose of W.E Share and how can it help society?
Ms. Kim says, “Establishing this section, we aim to focus on three major areas: education, health and environment. We will generate resources through gathering sponsorship, fundraising, community partnerships, and utilize those aids to make an impact in the lives of children and elderly. The first thing we want to do is motivate and encourage the rich to help the poor. We believe that sharing can transform a community for the better. Second, we will promote education to provide opportunities for children as well as the elderly to have equal access to knowledge. The health sector is also an important issue that we cannot overlook, we will promote a healthy lifestyle, prevention of epidemics with healthy food, physical support, as well as hygiene and regular exercise. Finally, W.E Share will inspire citizens to preserve environment by going green.”
